Session Title: Conscious, Compassionate Connection: Priming the Neuroplasticity of the Brain for Learning and Growth
Speaker: Linda Graham
Description: Educators use many tools and techniques to create safety and the stimulation that supports students’ brain development and learning. This webinar offers experiential tools and practices – based on evidence-based research on incorporating mindfulness, self-compassion, and social-emotional learning into the classroom – to foster a climate of conscious, compassionate connection – in the individual student’s mind and the atmosphere of the school as a whole. These practices catalyze the students’ learning and trust in themselves that they can learn.
