Professional Development Credits

We are delighted to be working with Courses4Teachers Inc., an educational company in affiliation with the University of the Pacific, to offer Graduate Level, professional development credit to our course participants. You can qualify for four units of graduate-level professional development credit for your participation in the Now Children training program. Please get to know the policies of your school district regarding graduate-level professional growth courses before registering.

About the Process

Please read all of the information below before proceeding. Thank you.

  • Step 1

Get to know your school district’s policies regarding graduate-level professional growth courses, due dates, etc. Some districts require prior approval, and some don’t. Districts vary in policy regarding requiring embossed transcripts, and districts have different turn-in dates for salary advancement. It is your responsibility to know your own district’s policies regarding dates you must submit grade reports for salary advancement and their policy in accepting grade reports vs. formal transcripts. Please contact your personnel department for information.

  • Step 2

Apply to join one of our Mentored Cohort groups. The mentored track automatically qualifies you for up to 4 units of professional development. After completing the full mentored training program, you can move on to step 3. Please read all of the information below prior to joining a group.

  • Step 3

Register for University Credit. Get more information at the link below.

Please Note: You must wait until you have completed the training, and received a certificate of completion before you register for your professional development credits through Courses4Teachers Inc.

International Students: We cannot guarantee that international students will be eligible for professional development units. You are responsible for checking with the school system in your country to assess the requirements of your country before you signup for the course or apply for credits through Courses4Teachers Inc. if you wish to receive credits.
